A COUNTRY HOUSE MADE TO FEEL LIKE A HOME

Every meticulous detail of the Ludlow Townhouse has been designed to make our guests feel entirely at home. Our elegant rooms weave together comfort and character with our passion for English furniture, antiques and vintage textiles. There are works of art to savour in every room, collected with care and love. A stay with us is to experience the epitome of English country house style.

The townhouse’s four floors offer rooms for all occasions, from formal banquets in the dining room featuring 17th century wood panelling, informal cooking in the gorgeous kitchen under willow lampshades made by award winning local artist Jenny Crisp, from laid back meals in the walled garden to idyllic picnics on the banks of the River Teme. If the weather turns, a roaring fire keeps the cold at bay, perfect for seeing in the night with a game of billiards on the Victorian table in the upstairs Drawing Room and a whiskey or local Ludlow gin or two.
